The Disability MegaQuiz was brought to the North East by Employers
Forum on Disability (EFD) and the Employability Project.
The event took place on the evening of Thursday, 4th March, 2010 and was held
at St James' Park. The aim was to encourage attendees to increase their awareness of disability in

Disabled models strutted their stuff on the catwalk at DNEX09, the
Disability North Exhibition. The fashion show included models,
aged between 18 and 69, showcased clothes from M&S (Newcastle)
and proved to be a winner with visitors to the event.

A group of twelve eager employees from Eversheds undertook a full day community project at Able2 Adult Services
working on a variety of tasks within the horticulture department including pruning shrubs, shredding garden
waste and fence painting.

decking area and restoring a decorative island within a stream in the grounds.

The Employability Project held a 'What Happens Next?' event on 24th June 2009 at Northern
Counties College. The event was aimed at current and potential students and parents accessing

for work and leisure from Marks & Spencer.

Disabled models took to the catwalk for the first time last week at DNEX08, the
Disability North Exhibition. The fashion show was held at the Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle.
Models, aged between 18 and 67, showcased clothes from Matalan, proving to the
visitors that fashion is not just for the young!
