Director of Adult Services

David Barker MBE, BSC (Hons)

David joined The Percy Hedley Foundation as Director of Adult Services in February 2005. He has previously been employed in senior management posts at Disability North, Mental Health Matters and Reed in Partnership.

He is currently a council member of the Tyne & Wear Learning and Skills Council and sits on the LSC's National Equality & Diversity Committee. In 2001 David was awarded an MBE for services to the employment of disabled people.

His responsibilities at The Percy Hedley Foundation include Adult Residential Care Services and Day Care Services including Employment and Training services.
